My office colleague is busy distributing his wedding invitation cards. I took pride for being the one who designed the card. He wanted a simple card which can be send to be printed at print shop or by himself. He came to me asking for some modification on the design to which I told him not to over-do it too much. 

I remember when I first saw my wedding invitation cards which was printed for free by some people close to my wife. While I appreciate their gesture so much, I was really disappointed with the quality and the material they used. To make matter worse, they changed the font that I use because they don't have the exact font to replicate it.

Nevertheless, I'm grateful for not going mad about it. First of, it was free. A thousand invitation cards printed for free is a good deal. Secondly, unless you're a collector of wedding invitation cards, you will likely throw away the invitation cards right after the event finish. To think that you waste RM1 for each card they throw away, it is wasteful. 

I said the same thing to my colleague. It is just not worth the trouble. People will or will not come to your wedding no matter how cheap or expansive your invitation card is. It is a most just an invitation card. Nowadays, more people use social side on the internet to invite people to their wedding. It cost you nothing and can reach wider audiences than invitation cards can do.

I think I can make a good business designing invitation cards. The only problem is that I don't have the tools to do it. I need to get a Mac, pronto!
